empowHER WA Incorporated is an organisation focussed on relieving the stress and trauma related to abuse against women.
OBJECTIVES

to provide, hope, community and support to vulnerable women and their children enabling them to embark on a new life of safety and stability. to those who have experienced or been affected by violence or abuse

HEALING HOMES
We are set to embark on an amazing project that will provide transitional housing for women and their children, while they concentrate on healing and growing. These homes will be built from refurbished shipping containers and fitted out and furnished with recycled materials wherever possible.

The first step will be to raise the funds required to purchase or lease land and acquire shipping containers and materials.

THRIVE
A Mobile App providing domestic violence resource contacts; a space to form a safety/exit plan; an area to keep personal records/documents securely; and an auto-record function and a one-button 000 call for safety.

All this and so much more, we are excited to be partnering with tech students and others as we build this application to be rolled out through all Domestic Abuse resources first in Western Australia and then beyond.

FLOURISH
A warehouse storing everything from the initial urgent needs, to school uniforms and supplies through to furniture and household items to start over. Have ready-made packs for refuges to distribute to clients.

Not only are we looking for a physical warehouse to store goods but this initiative will roll out as a "virtual warehouse" where goods can be listed and our clients can "shop" directly.

We can't do this alone, have you been affected by domestic abuse or family violence in any way, whether it be personal, a friend or a family member. This is your chance to show your support.
Every little bit counts, your donations will cover the costs of helping victims obtain the personal development programs they need free of charge.

Whilst we will be applying for funds from different sources we would love for you to show your support via goods donation, monetary donations or your love and time.
Our work is never done, we can use all the help we can get. One of the ways you can take part is by Volunteering. Whatever your superpower, we need you!

By simply sharing your expertise you have the ability to motivate others and inspire true change.

We have many different opportunities for volunteers, from collection and delivery of goods, to assisting at events and workshops or providing a sympathetic ear to those in need.
